Thank you Ani,

It will be a great tool for all of us and the public to stay in touch. Which artwork do you like best?

Hi fellow artists :) My name is Willow...my artist name. I am Lola's daughter. My mom exposed me to the arts from a very young age. I am so glad you all have found her and have had the opportunity to learn from her many years of experience. Most other children I grew up with never had the exposure to the fine arts and mastering the skills to express ones own individual style like I received from my mom. Believe me, the lessons she taught us at a very young age carried us so far in the arts in elementary, high school and even college. Never were we hindered in our creative expression. She is an awesome teacher! Thanks Mama!

Congratulations to you Ani! I love your rose. As I studied it, I realized that it reminded me of a Georgia O'keefe. I like the white space a lot. It makes the rose really stand out. You put a great deal of time in all those rose petals and I like the very center of the rose. I think this piece would look great with a maroon or cherry wood frame. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more of your creations! Willow

That is a good point Willow, I can see what you mean, like Georgia O'Keefe's famous Poppies.
Thank for your comment.

Hi Dann, I just wanted to tell you how much I admire your art piece HARBOR HUNTING. I really like the texture and your skill of reflection. A beautiful portrayal of color use, layering and composition. You did a great job on this! Willow

Thank you, Willow. My attempt was to express the emotion of the moment through color, texture and stroke. I am pleased that you think this gold was accomplished.

Hi classmates!
Boy, I already miss being in class with so many talented, friendly friends. I love the new things added to our site. What a blessing it is to have such a talented teacher. I can see how much everyone is progressing with the direction of Lola. I feel honored to be able to continue to study under her direction. Ani is so cute! I miss her so much! (this is the first time I have ever blogged. I hope I did It right)

I have seen the art work at the Red House. WOW! It really looks great. I sent some friends and family the email of the art. They put it on facebook. Our art work is getting exposure all over the world. We are so lucky to have a teacher who stays on top of things. Thanks Lola.
